We are very excited to share with you the initial conceptual plans that we presented to the Town of Delmar. Our next phase of planning and development is underway. The regulations process in Maryland is lengthy, however many of our legislators have pledged their support. We are all very excited for the 2013 Concert Season! WE STILL NEED YOUR SUPPORT!!! The Amphitheater at Heron Ponds is grateful for the support that we have received from our community during this inaugural season. In return, we would like to feature some of the Holiday events that are taking place right here in our area. We hope that along with The Amphitheater, you will take the time to support these organizations and their worthy causes.
Decorating Delmarva
The Delaware International Speedway and U.S. 13 Dragway located in Delmar, Delaware along with it’s 120 acres will be the host of this one-of-a-kind event which will become a new Eastern Shore Tradition and destination spot for visitors and residents on Delmarva! The show operates every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening. Gates will open week nights at 6pm and close at 10pm. On Friday and Saturday evenings, Gates will open at 6pm and close at 11pm. This charity event will support several groups on the Peninsula including, but not limited to, local schools, charity groups, non-profit organizations and clubs, churches and volunteer fire companies.

As we are planning for the next season and designing our new structure, we would like to share some of the photos from our last two shows. On Friday October 26th, we were thrilled to present three great bands- Kingsfoil, Eve 6 and Everclear. The shows were fantastic and the crowd was phenonmenal! Take a look!
On Saturday October 27th, we were happy to welcome back Kellie Pickler. The weather was a bit more cooperative and the fans were out in force. Kellie and her band were thrilled to return to Delmar and finally put on the show the Shore had talked about for months. The night was a bit chilly and the rain held off (for the most part), but the show was fantastic. Definitely worth the wait and anticipation!

You have shown a lot of support to a growing local business, and we see that there’s a strong demand for great music in our area.
This winter we plan on doing a lot of construction to make an even better venue. This includes a great multipurpose building, a stage, a covered seating area, a berm for everybody out on the lawn, soccer fields, and all of those other things that will help transform us into a full blown amphitheater and recreational property. It’s a lot of work!
To move forward, we need to ask you for another big favor – WE NEED TO GROW TO 5000 LIKES ON FACEBOOK. It’s one of those things that is in our business plan before we break ground with our new construction. Our backers are ready to invest more, once we reach this level of support from our local friends.

Country Star Kellie Pickler As Debut Concert for The Amphitheater At Heron Ponds in Delmar, MD
July 27, 2012. Delmar, MD – Country music star and former American Idol contestant Kellie Pickler is performing Saturday August 25th in Delmar, MD. She will be the debut concert for The Amphitheater At Heron Ponds, which is a brand new outdoor performance venue on the Eastern Shore. The mission behind the amphitheater is to create a venue for families to be entertained, at a price that won’t break the bank, while still offering a diverse range of artists and an outlet for local events.
Kellie Pickler tickets starting at only $20 is one of many ways this venue is price friendly. Children under ten years old will be admitted free for all lawn seating, and parking is free as well. With local company Adam’s Ribs as the concert food vendor, and official sponsorships from Miller Light and Coors Light, event goers will have a delicious and cost effective evening at the amphitheater. The amphitheater is also offering a free 80s Night concert Friday August 24th which will feature local bands Front Page News, Blue Junction, Riot Act, and Anything Goes.
Currently when you drive past The Amphitheater at Heron Ponds on Rt.54 east of Rt.13, you may be confused to see empty fields and houses under construction. For the first few performances all equipment will be brought in the week of the event, including an elevated stage. As the venue progresses, permanent structures will be built, including a berm for elevated lawn seating.

If you purchased tickets to the Kellie Pickler concert for August 25th, your tickets WILL be valid for the rescheduled date of October 27th.
